Boiler Repair Quote – details provided

Hello, our boiler has gone bust and we have had British Gas have a look at it.

It’s an Ideal Vogue CV40 Gen 2. 4 years old, within warranty. The Primary Heat Exchanger has completely corroded as a result of rust/sludge build up (not limescale). Warranty does not cover this damage. And a power flush isn’t going to help as the part has burnt through (quoting British Gas). BG have advised of replacing the damaged part.
