Hi, it’s unclear why the electrician was unable to help. The nest thermostat is hard-wired to a power supply and then communicates with a receiver connected to the boiler. If the issue is that the control thermostat part has no power then an electrician is well placed to fault find and fix. However, if the issue is with the receiver connected to the boiler then perhaps a heating engineer is better placed. However, setting all the above aside we have an engineer who is both a qualified electrician and a heating engineer so will be well placed to resolve this regardless.
