The amount of CO causing the alarm to trip varies, as does the ‘trip’ time. See below a range of times and CO levels that will trip an alarm.

1. If exposed to 400 ppm of CO – Alarm response time between 4 to 16 minutes.

2. If exposed to 150 ppm of CO, Alarm response time between 10 to 50 minutes.

3. If exposed to 70 ppm of CO, Alarm response time between 60 to 240 minutes.
