Macerator smell when flushed
Macerator smell when flushed
Hi,
My macerator is letting off a foul smell when being flushed. It has been descaled before and after this had started to occur, but descaling after has not rid the problem. Is this a common issue? Do I need to just buy a new box or can this be fixed by an engineer somehow?

Hi Herbie, hope you’re well. When it comes to macerators its usually more economical to have the units replaced when you consider the cost of parts and labour.
